JG Summit Petrochemicals Group (JGSPG) once again joined the PackPrintPlas Philippines trade show, held last October 10-12, 2019 at the SMX Convention Center, Mall of Asia Complex in Pasay City.

PackPrintPlas Philippines is the only trade event series in the country that features the interrelated industries of packaging, plastics, printing and office supplies in one venue. Thus, it was a perfect venue to introduce for the first time JGSPG’s upcoming products which are used as basic building blocks in many of the industries represented at the show. These products, which include benzene, toluene, mixed xylenes, mixed aromatics, butadiene and raffinate-1, are slated to be available in the latter part of 2020.

PackPrintPlas Philippines also remains as the premier trade show for the plastics industry.  JGSPG, maker of EVALENE®, the number one polyethylene and polypropylene brand in the Philippines, highlighted its market dominance during the show. Plastic converters who are loyal and long-term JGSPG customers, were duly recognized as EVALENE® Partners. Major plastic converting equipment exhibitors likewise partnered with JGSPG by showcasing EVALENE® resins in demonstrating the converting capabilities of their respective machines.

During the second day of the show (October 11), the seminar “EVALENE® PE and PP: Innovations for Improved Productivity and Enhanced Sustainability” was organized by JGSPG. The well-attended seminar included talks on sustainable plastic packaging, and how EVALENE® PE and PP resins contribute to sustainability objectives.
