Pyrolysis Gasoline

Pyrolysis Gasoline, commonly known as pygas, is a naphtha-range, high aromatics by-product of the steam cracking process. It is commonly used as feedstock in aromatics extraction units or as a blending component for gasoline.

Benzene

Benzene is an aromatic hydrocarbon used primarily in the manufacture of ethylbenzene (precursor to polystyrene), cumene (for resins and adhesives) and cyclohexane (for nylons). It is also used to make rubbers, lubricants, dyes, detergents, pharmaceuticals and pesticides.

Toluene

Toluene is an aromatic hydrocarbon used as precursor to polyurethane. It is also commonly used as a component for paint thinners, adhesives, resins, cleaning agents, leather tanners and inks.

Mixed Xylenes

Mixed Xylenes are aromatic hydrocarbons used to produce intermediate chemicals for the production of PET plastic bottles and polyesters for textiles. They can also be used as blending component for gasoline, solvents in the printing, rubber, leather and pesticide industries, as well as thinner for paint, varnishes, adhesives and inks.

Mixed Aromatics

Mixed Aromatics are used as gasoline blending component, and as mixed solvent for a wide array of industrial applications in agrochemical and specialty chemicals.
