After more than two years of limited attendance on onsite events, JG Summit Olefins Corporation (JGSOC) went in full force to participate in the regional trade shows organized by PackPrintPlas Philippines.
PackPrintPlas is the Philippines’ top packaging, plastics, and printing trade show organized by Global-Link MP Events International, an events-organizing and management company operating locally since the 1990s, that is part of the international award-winning events company Pico Group. With PackPrintPlas Philippines, key industry players, suppliers, visitors and interested parties are able to discover the latest technologies and solutions in these markets and engage networking opportunities.
JGSOC booth at the Packaging and Plastics Visayas
The first event started last July 21-23, 2022 in Cebu at the Waterfront Hotel where JGSOC held a seminar to launch its newest product, the EVALENE PLUS® brand to Cebu-based customers. Entitled EVALENE PLUS®: Upgrading Your PE and PP Experience, the attendees were able to learn how the new EVALENE PLUS® grades can address their polymer requirements through innovation partnerships with JGSOC. EVALENE PLUS® complements EVALENE® grades by making clearer, tougher and faster sealing films, higher ESCR caps, tougher films with more recyclates, pipes that are more eco-efficient and injection and blow molded products with outstanding clarity and gloss.
Another seminar was also facilitated by JGSOC, this time to provide information on its aromatics products including its branded mixed aromatics EVA-SOL®. EVA-SOL® is a high-solvency C9-C10 mixed aromatics solvent suitable for use in agro-chemical products, architectural and industrial coatings and various other applications.
Visitors at the three-day exhibit were also able to check the different product offerings of JGSOC from the JGSOC booth.

The JGSOC Team flew next to SMX Convention Center in SM Lanang Davao for the Mindanao leg of the PackPrintPlas trade show on September 8-10, 2022. Davao customers attended the JGSOC seminar and were introduced to the EVALENE PLUS® brand, and also got more information on the company’s aromatics offerings including EVA-SOL®. Similar to the Cebu exhibit, JGSOC also had a booth at the trade floor to showcase its product offerings.

In the culmination of the PackPrintPlas exhibition fair held for three days in October 6-8, 2022 at the SMX Convention Center, Mall of Asia Complex in Pasay City, JGSOC was also physically present with a larger booth exhibiting its products.
While the exhibit is ongoing, JGSOC held separate seminars on EVALENE PLUS® and its aromatics products including EVA-SOL® to its invited customers.
Plastic converters and exhibitors who are customers of JGSOC that also participated in the trade fair with their own exhibit booths were also recognized by JGSOC as EVALENE® partners. Many of them used EVALENE® resins to help showcase and demonstrate the converting capabilities of their respective plastic converting machines during the 3-day exhibit.

The onsite PackPrintPlas trade fairs held in different key regions provided JGSOC with the opportunity to interact with many visitors and customers and introduce new JGSOC products to them.
