JG Summit Petrochemicals Group (JGSPG) was once again invited by San Miguel Yamamura Packaging Corporation (SMYPC) to its Innovation Day held at Marco Polo Ortigas on November 23, 2016.

The event brought together about 185 participants from SMYPC, from its president, business managers, plant managers, to members of its finance, technical, sales and marketing personnel. This year’s theme was “Level up! Innovate to Elevate!” Invited speakers talked about how an innovation mindset could be cultivated within an organization and shared their own innovation success stories.

EVALENE^® is a major raw material used by SMYPC’s in both its rigid and flexible packaging businesses, making JGSPG uniquely positioned as a major partner for innovation. At the exhibit, we discussed opportunities to develop new applications with EVALENE^® that will help SMYPC to expand into new markets. Immediate collaboration initiatives were firmed up to emphasize JGSPG’s commitment to “Level Up!” and partner with SMYPC to “Innovate to Elevate!”
